Despite the recent rollercoaster of high and low weather, spring is just around the corner, and with it comes spring style. There will be some fresh adaptations of classic styles as well as new ones, based on recent trends and foreign Fashion Weeks alike. The following are the Spring 2022 trends to keep an eye on!

Light Green

The Pantone color of the year, “Greenery,” isn’t going anywhere; in fact, it’ll be a big part of this year’s spring looks. When the weather starts to warm up, avoiding neutrals and adopting bolder, brighter colors will be a big trend.

Gloves

It won’t take as much effort to stay warm this spring, but ornamental gloves will become increasingly popular. Gloves will be a fun item now more than ever to harness elegant and upmarket feelings in looks selected this spring. Mesh, sheer, you name it — gloves will be a delightful accessory now more than ever to capture elegant and premium vibes in looks curated this spring.

Maximal Layering

Layering has been enormous in recent years, and its stranglehold on fashion is only expected to continue through the spring season. The more layers you have, the better, and the more intricate your costume are, the more on-trend you’ll be. Tiktok is one of the finest locations to get layering ideas, so check out maximal layering and play around with it.

Feather Trim

Luxurious feather trim on the ends of sleeves, slacks, and skirts will be popular in every hue and design this spring, as we’ve already seen a lot of it. Whether your satin pajamas have a feather trim for a little additional flare or your business jacket has feather trim, this is a trend you’ll see a lot of.

Patterned Tights

The 1970s have spoken, and they want their quirky tights back — too bad they’ll have to wait until spring 2022. Colored tights and designer-logo tights have been popular for a while, but now, the funkier the nicer: tights are emerging statement items in their own right. Give tights a try this spring, whether they’re abstract or monochromatic, patterned or graphic because they’ll be everywhere.

Fringe

Western fringe has been popular for a few years, but today all types of fringe are on the rise. Remember how in high school you would cut fringes on the ends of your t-shirts to make them seem cooler? We’re not claiming that this will return, however…. As the weather warms up in spring, expect to see a plethora of fringe styles.

Saffron

This vibrant hue of red will be seen on a variety of clothing, shoes, and accessories in the near future. It combines red’s powerful, aggressive undertones with a softer, gentler hue, making it simpler to incorporate into your looks and even blend with other hues. It’s a fantastic way to liven up any outfit!

Preppy Anti-Academic

Academia continues to rule supreme as one of the most popular aesthetic trends, but anti-academic or rebel-academic is swiftly catching up. Think school uniforms without the rules; this style includes short-cropped hems, holes, and large shirts with no pants — basically, anything that wouldn’t fly at a uniformed school.

Draped Pieces

This gorgeous aesthetic has already been seen on a slew of celebs, whether it’s a faux-wet appearance or a traditional graceful drape. Draping will be another option to include high-end feeling elements into your wardrobe this spring, whether it’s on your shirt, a long skirt, or a dress.
